MOSAICS: Driven to Abstraction

Workshop Overview

This out-of-the-box mosaic abstraction workshop will focus on design, value, color, texture and placement as tools of creative expression. We will discuss how non-representational work can open up possibilities for expressing mood and movement to tell a story in a unique and vibrant way. Using stained glass, slate, ceramics, nails, rusty bits, buttons, bottle caps, and other mixed materials, participants will create four 6”x 6” experimental works they can use as-is or as references for creating future works. Come let yourself explore and play in this fun and pressure-free abstract mosaic workshop.

No grouting will be done during this workshop.
