Mosaics are a very specific, time intensive medium, and often materials can take weeks or months to obtain from sources all over the globe. Most projects can be created in my studio, then installed onsite at the right moment, so I won’t be underfoot for weeks creating on site. It is best to plan ahead, at the beginning design phase of a remodel or new construction, for the most efficient, exciting, and positive results! Turn your project from “really nice” to “BEAUTIFUL!”.

The making of the Bee City USA: Talent Mosaic Mural
Mosaic Artist Karen Rycheck spent 18 months creating a mural to showcase Talent, Oregon’s status as a Bee City USA. The community art project engaged more than 100 volunteers to help create the stunning 32-foot mural that now graces the Betty Wheeler stage front at Talent City Hall.
